Newly minted indie banner Monterrey Pictures has tapped Nat Christian to pen and co-produce its first feature, "700 Hill." Project, targeted for a spring shoot in Mexico and West Virginia, centers on a newly immigrated Mexican family and an Appalachian woman who marries into it in a small coal-mining town in the 1940s.
