Pathe Agree To Stone's 'Alexander' Production
[Tuesday, April 29th, 2003]ScreenDaily reports that France's Pathe have agreed to become co-production partners for Oliver Stones Alexander.
Pathe veteran Paul Rassam was instrumental in brokering the deal between Intermedia and Pathe for Alexander. Intermedia’s sales partnership with Summit Entertainment, I/S Film Distribution, is handling other territories at Cannes.
Intermedia chairman Moritz Borman told Screendaily that the remaining financial structure on the film, which is expected to cost well in excess of $100m, is currently being put together. In addition to Warner and Pathe, IMF, the German Film Fund associated with Intermedia, will invest in the picture.
