Michael Caton-Jones In 'Basic Instinct 2' Talks
[Friday, September 10th, 2004]Michael Caton-Jones in talks to direct MGM's Basic Instinct 2, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
This comes after 3 years of legal battles between Sharon Stone and the producers over their failure to produce the sequel, which was due to go into production in 2000.
Sharon Stone is now set to reprise her role as Catherine Tramell, the manipulative, seductive novelist at the heart of a murder investigation in the original 1992 film.
