Directors Gordon, Speck In 'Baster' Talks

"Blades of Glory" helming duo Josh Gordon and Will Speck are in final negotiations to direct Columbia Pictures' artificial insemination comedy "Baster."
Based on a short story by "Middlesex" author Jeffrey Eugenides, the comedy centers on a 40-year-old unmarried woman who decides to become pregnant by inseminating herself using a turkey baster and sperm from a married friend. Allan Loeb ("Things We Lost in the Fire") penned the screenplay.
