Minghella Gets Acting Debut In 'Bee Season'
[Thursday, January 15th, 2004]Anthony Minghella (Cold Mountain) 18-year old son Max Minghella is to make his feature debut in Bee Season alongside Richard Gere and Juliette Binoche, according to Variety.
Scott McGehee and David Siegel are both co-directing, they have previously partnered on The Deep End.
Minghella will play a young man whose parents are caught up in the spelling bee aspirations of his 11-year-old sister, who's vying to become national champ. Gere and Binoche play the parents.
