Annette Bening Joins 'Being Julia'
[Tuesday, November 12th, 2002]Annette Bening is set to star in the feature film "Being Julia" for Serendipity Point Films, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Istvan Szabo will direct the project, which begins shooting on location in Europe in May.
The project reteams Lantos and Szabo, both of whom worked on the Golden Globe-nominated feature "Sunshine."
"Julia" is based on W. Somserset Maugham's novel "Theatre" and is described as a delicious tale of amorous folly and revenge set in the world of the London stage during the late 1930s.
