Patrick Smith Kelly To Adapt 'Benighted'

Patrick Smith Kelly has been tapped to adapt Kit Whitfield's supernatural thriller novel "Benighted" for producer Graham King and Warner Bros.
Andrew Adamson ("The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe") is eyeing the project as a possible directing vehicle. King, who acquired the book in 2006, will produce via his new shingle, GK Films. Adamson also will produce. Rick Schwartz is exec producer.
