Actor Patrick Fugit is set to lead the low-budget movie Bickford Schmeckler's Cool Ideas, according to the Hollywood Reporter.The project, helmed by first-time director Scott Lew, is described as a coming-of-age comedy about a reclusive college freshman who has been privately writing his ingenious cool ideas in a notebook. When the journal is stolen, he goes on a cross-campus odyssey to retrieve the book.
