Synopsis: Set in England in 1912, "Jane" is the story of an intelligent woman in her 30s who refuses to marry a handsome, wealthy young artist in his 20s for fear he will grow weary of her. When he is blinded in a hunting accident and loses his will to live, the woman takes a job as the young man's nurse and secretary and, using an American accent, conceals her identity from him.
