Sara Foster Lands Lead Role In 'Big Bounce'

Newcomer Sara Foster has landed the lead female role in "The Big Bounce," reports Variety.

She will be joining Owen Wilson, Morgan Freeman and Gary Sinise in the George Armitage-directed drama for Warner Bros.

Foster plays Nancy Hayes, a 19-year-old who successfully seduces Owen Wilson's character even though he realizes it might not be for his own long-term good. Armitage cast the thesp after a long search.

"I expect her intelligence and sense of humor will entertain audiences as much as she entertained me," said Armitage, who wrote the script with Sebastian Gutierrez.

The 21-year-old Foster is a model who appeared in an episode of the Showtime series "Going to California" and the Backstreet Boys video "Shape of My Heart." She had been the host of "ET on MTV," a trial program that lasted 10 episodes. While negotiations are under way to renew the show, Foster will not be part of it as she toplines the WB film.
