Bloody Sunday Director Takes On 'Bourne' Sequel

Paul Greengrass ("Bloody Sunday") is in negotiations to direct the sequel to "The Bourne Identity," "The Bourne Supremacy," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Tony Gilroy has also come back and adapted the sequel from the second novel in the Rober Ludlum's Bourne series.

Matt Damon willl reprise his role as Jason Bourne, a man on a search to find out his real identity as he evades the CIA and assassins. This time, the story centers on a Chinese vice premier supposedly slain by Bourne.

It is expected that production will begin and the end of the year.
