Todd Graff Makes 'Camp' Directorial Debut
[Tuesday, August 6th, 2002]John Wells Prods. is producing Todd Graff's directorial debut, "Camp," reports Variety.
"Camp" is a musical comedy set at summer camp where aspiring young actors, singers and dancers chase dreams, agents and each other.
Production numbers include songs by Stephen Sondheim, the Rolling Stones and Victoria Williams, as well as two original songs by Oscar-winning composer Michael Gore ("Fame") and lyricist Lynn Ahrens (Tony Award winner for "Ragtime").
Graff received a Tony nomination for his role in "Baby." He has also been in films such as "Death to Smoochy," "The Abyss" and "Five Corners." His work as a screenwriter includes "Used People," "Angie" and "Coyote Ugly."
