Disney/Pixar Push 'Cars' To June 2006
[Tuesday, December 7th, 2004]Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios have announced that they have postponed the theatrical release of their animated feature Cars to June 2006 from November 2005, says the Hollywood Reporter.
The move is said to be aimed at profiting from the potentially stronger box office attendance by out-of-school children.
'Cars' is described as a high-octane adventure comedy that features a wide assortment of autos as characters who get their kicks on Route 66.
The movie will mark the end of the relationship between Pixar and Disney.
