Nickelodeon Films To Make 'Charlotte's Web'
[Wednesday, November 17th, 2004]Nickelodeon Films is to make a live-action/CG animation adaptation of E.B. Whites Charlotte's Web, according to Variety.
Charlotte's Web is to be directed by Gary Winick. Susannah Grant (Erin Brockovich) wrote the script with revisions by Karey Kirkpatrick (Chicken Run).
Written in 1952, is the best selling children's paperback of all time. Story centers on a 10-year-old girl and a spider who saves the life of her friend, a pig named Wilbur. Book was made into a 1973 animated feature by Paramount.
Charlotte's Web is expected to start shooting in January.
