Schwarzenegger Is Back In Febuary


Andrew Davis's('The Fugitive') movie 'Collateral Damage' starring Arnold Schwarzenegger was postponed in the immediate wake of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, by Warner Bros., has been rescheduled for national release Feb. 8, reports Hollywood Reporter.

Schwarzenegger plays a Los Angeles firefighter who battles a Colombian terrorist in the wake of a bomb attack that kills his wife and son, originally was scheduled for release Oct. 5. 'Collateral Damage' was one of three high-profile studio titles to be postponed during the weeks after the attacks.

"We recently screened the film for a test audience, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive," Warners president of domestic distribution Dan Fellman said. "We believe that 'Collateral Damage' is a compelling, relevant and entertaining picture that audiences will want to see."

Said Schwarzenegger: "We needed to let America grieve and heal following the attack on our nation. We were confident there would be an appropriate time to release this film and trusted the audience would tell us when the time would be right."
