A documentary on Sophie B. Hawkins, the rock star who rose to fame on the 1992 single "Damn, I Wish I Was Your Lover" from the album "Tongues and Tails." Over the course of the documentary, Sophie's mother reveals that from the age of 10, Hawkins suffered from continual sexual abuse. This revelation is incorported into the documentary as Sophie deals with the news and, in turn, discovers the motivation behind much of her music.
