'Donnie Darko' Director To Write Script For Tony Scott
[Saturday, October 19th, 2002]Tony Scott is set to direct the dramatic thriller "Domino" for Fox 2000, with "Donnie Darko" writer-director Richard Kelly on board to pen the screenplay, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
The project -- based on the real-life story of Domino Harvey -- is described as a Los Angeles crime saga experienced through the eyes of Harvey, an ex-Ford model and daughter of actor Lawrence Harvey who gave up her pampered lifestyle to become a real-life bounty hunter.
Details of the plot are being kept under wraps, but it's known that Scott has been shepherding the project for many years.
