D.J. Pooh Trys To 'Get It Twisted'

Artisan Entertainment has acquired the urban comedy spec script "Don't Get It Twisted," from scribes D.J. Pooh and Marcus Morton, reports Variety.D.J. Pooh is attached to direct and produce picture through his production shingle Lithium Entertainment, with Donna Chavous and Rick Freeman set to co-produce.
"Don't Get It Twisted" tells the story of twin brothers, separated at birth and raised at opposite ends of the socioeconomic ladder. When they meet for the first time as adults, they decide to trade places.
Pooh penned New Line Cinema's "Friday," and wrote, directed and produced the comedies "3 Strikes" for MGM (which he produced with Morton) and "The Wash" for Lions Gate.
