Basinger, Rogers, Phillips Join 'Door In The Floor'

Kim Basinger, Mimi Rogers and Bijou Phillips have joined lead Jeff Bridges in The Door in the Floor, according to Variety. Based on John Irving bestseller, A Widow For One Year' , Tod Williams will write and direct the adaptation for Focus Features.

Set in a privileged East Hampton beach community, the story explores the complexities of love during one pivotal summer in the lives of a celebrated children's author (Bridges) and his wife (Basinger). Jon Foster and Elle Fanning complete the cast.

Shooting for the movie started March 31 in and around the Hamptons.
