I was just surfing around the internet for shows/movies that you cant buy and happen to come across PERFECT STRANGERS. This is one of the best shows I have ever enjoyed and can not wait to add this to my collection. For anyone out there that has not watched this show this is must see especially the first season stands out the most. This show spined off FAMILY MATTERS Harriet Winslow played the elevator lady and then started her own show even though FAMILY MATTERS and FULL HOUSE lasted longer than PERFECT STRANGERS it still ranks up there with my favorites of ALL TIME!!! Thank you for FINALLY releasing this BLAST FROM THE PAST!!!

Perfect Strangers had 2 magnificent leads....whose performances were top notch. They were comparable to many of the famous duos that have come and gone over the years of classic television, as well as silent film heroes.
It's so difficult to watch the misadventures of Larry and Balki and not laugh!
In fact,if you can do it, you're completely void of emotion!
This series should have been one of the first sitcoms to be released on DVD, especially since it is the greatest sitcom of all time!
There is always a place in my heart for classic sitcoms, because the sitcoms of today lack one special element: humor!
By all means, buy this set...and for those of you unfamiliar with the series, please climb from under your rock and take the time to see this series!

I'm not writing this to knock Amazon, the best source I know of for info on upcoming releases, and usually the best prices...but I did want to echo the other fellow who mentioned he was disappointed because he'd signed up with Amazon's "let me know when this item finally becomes available" email service...I, too, had gotten on the "let me know" list for Perfect Strangers, and so was both surprised and delighted to see it finally listed on the DVD front page...almost missed it though, and since they changed their format for announcing new releases each week (making it harder to slog through them) I probably wouldn't ever have known about this until I saw it staring back at me at Circuit City or Best Buy. So, heads up Amazon - seems your email alert system needs new batteries, or something!

I AM SO EXCITED!!! Only about two months away from this amazing show. TV Land used to put this show on reruns at 11 o'clock at night, but now I can't find it on TV at all! My family and I love this show. Balki and Larry are a great duo!

It's about time!!! Hopefully the whole series will be out the door by this time next year =o)
My only complaint is that Amazon's email notification never told me this product was available for pre-order, despite having signed up well-over a year ago.
