WWE THE ROCK: MOST ELECTRIFYING (DVD MOVIE)

User Reviews

Not enough of his funny interviews.. - Rating: 3/5

Although the rock may have been one of the most entertainig supserstars, this compilation doesn't give him as much credit as he deserves. There's not a lot of his funny intereviews and when you are done watching all 3 discs, you're left wondering, "What about that time he...." or "Hey, they forgot about that one..."

Awesome! - Rating: 5/5

This was an Excellent, Well produced DVD from WWE.
They did a very good job on it, most matches I loved.

Disappointing - Rating: 3/5

Okay I am a rock Fan i admit he is/was the most electrifying man wwe has seen in a while. Here is my issue it is apparent that WWE was lookin to suck the juice from the fact he was at the hall of fame and put out a dvd. This dvd was below wwe standards I mean dam no commentary at all. you got commentary for dam near all the other dvds and none for this one. I am sure not everyone has a bitter taste in their mouth because rock left. Then as someone else said match selection was subpar as was promo selection. If this was a 4 disc dvd with one dedicated to promos and the rest had interviews or commentary from other wrestler it could have got the good old 5 star. Umm wwe See the undertaker dvd, stone cold, even triple h dvds and remeber how it used to be.

Not even worth it - Rating: 1/5

This is beyond a wasted effort on the part of the WWE. Aside from the fact that the match selectons are sub-par, anyone who knows anything about the Rock knows that most of his appeal centers around his promos. I really assumed that they would have a disk for just promos, but the few we are given are just under an extras menu. Then the promos we are given do not include ANY of the most famous Rock moments except maybe one or two. This product was obviously made to just suck some money out of the fans with no payoff what so ever; kind of like the current run of WWE programming.

World Wildlife Fund: I hate you - Rating: 3/5

The dumbest lawsuit ever, The World Wildlife Fund suing The World Wrestling Federation, has resulted in some of the most extensive blurring of video and censoring of audio I have ever seen in a WWE DVD release. It's totally distracting if in the middle of a classic Rock promo he gets the "F" in WWF censored out of his speech. Likewise, in the background of the matches you have at least 5-10 spots where the attitude-era WWF logo is being blurred. It takes a lot away from the presentation.

The match selection is great but they included very few of his promos. This is The Rock after all, his promos were half the point I pre-ordered the DVD. But again, there's so much censorship on this DVD that even the promos get ruined.

It's hard to believe The World Wildlife Fund was actually suffering any damages from sharing their initials with the World Wrestling Federation. That lawsuit has effectively ruined the archives of one of the greatest eras in professional wrestling. I will definitely never donate any money to the World Wildlife Fund as a result of all this.
