A three box of kleenex must - Rating: 5/5
Touching to the point that I began crying from the moment of the wake. Subsequently, I cried through the entire movie. These weren't tears of sadness, they were the tears where you sigh and think Gerry is the most wonderful man to have ever lived, determined that his love for his wife (Holly) could still be shouted from the rooftops even after he has left. Holly's pursuit of Gerry's requests to help her through her grief and depression are at times funny and poignant and the photography is absolutely stunning!
Love this movie - Rating: 5/5
Saw this movie on cable & had to buy it great story but sad because it talks about loss but the adventure during the movie is great.
Such a beautiful love story! - Rating: 5/5
Made my heart melt, my husband even liked it. Not one of his facvorites but he said it was good for a chick flick.
Yes, it's a "chick flick" but... - Rating: 4/5
I was wary of watching this one -- I avoid what I consider "chick flicks" like the plague. But I knew part of it took place in Ireland, which I love, and -- well, Gerard Butler is a hunk. And a damn good actor -- as is everyone else in this cast. It is romantic, it is sentimental, but it's not "sappy." Definitely worth enjoying.
My Favorite Movie - Rating: 5/5
You will not believe how romantic this movie is! I have watched it five times. Everyone I've ever talked with has watched it more than once. It's a treasure for the romantics among us.
