It's great to see that the Beverly Hillbillies are coming out on DVD in season sets. It's a brilliant show that is very underrated for it's witty writing and great comedic performances. Unfortunately, this release is from Paramount, who are notorious among TV-on-DVD fans for cutting out all music. Fans who are considering ordering this set should check out some Amazon reviews of Paramount TV releases like The Odd Couple and Happy Days, because it won't be a surprise if this edition of the Hillbillies comes with all the great original music replaced (or with scenes just cut out if the editing is too tricky -- that's what Paramount did with the Odd Couple).
