Best show ever? - Rating: 5/5
This show is so awesome I am not sure how it ever made it onto TV. It's brutal, it's ridiculous, it laughs at metal, politics, bad music, bad ideas, pop culture, and pretty much everything else ever, all while doing it with plenty of 'zazz.
A great show for metalheads and non-metalheads alike. - Rating: 5/5
The second season started off a bit slow, with the band members seeming almost like caricatures of themselves from the first season rather than of extreme metal musicians, but it quickly picked back up and went full strength until the end. Looking forward to season 3.
This is a hilarious show for everyone; metalheads of every degree will love the references to their favorite bands and highlights of the history of metal, both obscure and blatant (I'll admit I had to look up a few.) Non-metalheads can still appreciate the lighter side of extreme metal and the musicians' obsession with music, death, and all that is brutal. Everyone should be able to enjoy the fun the series pokes at the ridiculous side of the genre, and it sure does get ridiculous. Voice acting by some big names in music as well as an assortment of celebrities adds a nice touch to the series.
Husband LOVED His Suprise - Rating: 5/5
I got this for my husband for Christmas. It was shipped and received rather quickly. The quality and appearance is flawless :-)
Much Darker Than the First Season - Rating: 5/5
Although much anticipated and I loved it just as much, Brendon and Tommy dealt with a lot of darker issues in the Second Season. There were episodes where I cried so hard I had a sinus headache the next day (yes, I know this is a cartoon). Some I've just refused to watch again.
Perfect birthday gift. - Rating: 5/5
My husband loves this show! I personally liked having the captioning available so I could finally understand what Skwisgaar is saying.
