Guilty pleasure - Rating: 5/5

Season 2 is good but Season 1 is great. A fun show to own and watch again and/or share with friends.

Great Show - Rating: 5/5

I really love this show. It is funny and provocative at nearly the same time.

Secret Diary DVD - Rating: 3/5

Just one thing extraordinary, I love Billie Piper's acting; she is just so entertaining. I've seen all her BBC movies/series that she has made. She's exquisite to watch, and talented. I've never seen this "Secret Diary..." on Showtime; I only bought the DVD collection because Billie was in the starring role. I must say, it was not quite what I expected to see her in, although she performs extremely well for the role she plays. However, I just didn't care for some of the story lines in a couple of the episodes: it didn't grab my attention--I drifted away; therefore, I had to rate it accordingly. I truly do love her character (she fits the role), but it is not a Series I would continue to watch-- not addicting. For me to continue to watch, the material has to be addicting, catching, never wanting to end type story line (in each and every episode): there was no vibrant plot throughout the series. The "call girl" lifestyle story, in itself, is interesting and entertaining, and I would recommend it to those of you interested in Billy's performance (she's good). I, myself, just couldn't grab the just of the flicks (yawn!) and where it was taking me to (no attention grabber).

A new wrinkle for the "oldest profession" - Rating: 4/5

"Secret Diary of a Call Girl" offers a new take on what has become a somewhat tired plot. Billie Piper is charming and believable, with a interesting cynical edge. Belle, her character, manages to get her male friend to turn a 'trick' with her. This is something new!"Secret Diary of a Call Girl" is definitely worth the price.
