An Instant Classic! - Rating: 5/5

I think the film does well to accommodate the feel of the novel. Beautiful cinematography, a great story line, and decent actors round out the film. It is a movie that one can enjoy over and over again. =)

okay but not what i thought - Rating: 3/5

It was good but after reading the book I had more promise for the movie .

More gay Ann Rice type vampires. - Rating: 1/5

This is just stupid and an insult to vamparism. Vampires are block sucking vile creatures not sexy, flamboyant lovers.

get premise for a movie - Rating: 1/5

I just watched the first Twilight, I hope the second is better made. The trailers for the second are the reason I watched the first one yesterday, THEY look good.

I like the Edward actor, the Bella chick is an awful actress she is boring, the make up is poorly done the running scenes were laughable, very much like watching Naruto the Japanese anime cartoon.. Oh I am sorry but no one lives in the south west or any where and doesn't get some sun. You can't walk out doors in any climate and not get some color unless you are albino or have vitiligo and yes white people can get that too it just isn't as noticeable. Yes I know some very white, white people who burn but they don't look like dead fish. I live in WA I have friends in Forks.

BUT it is a presentable story on film and I did enjoy it. It looked like they didn't think the film would make any money no matter that it was a teen best seller. I did get bored with all the teen angst, way over done to the barfy point.

My granddaughter (20) and her friend (20) have seen it and loves it all including the books, as does my niece (15).

I don't know what all the hubbub is over the actress being replaced. As we talked about the movie last night I realized that actress is forgettable. Yes the Victoria part is small with not a lot of screen time, but honestly I had to think about the role before I even remembered what she looked like. Lets hope the next actress can be better at creating a screen persona.
