Benjamin Button - Rating: 5/5
Beautiful story. May seem slow for others, however, it is intended to be viewed at a leisurely pace and enjoyed like good wine, one sip at a time. Keeps you on edge, wondering what's going to happen next. Ending will break your heart.

this dvd was in good shape and we are glad we added it to our collection.
Boring and Tedious - Rating: 1/5
Three hours long -- a pointless movie. The make-up was terrible too. The whole thing was unbelievable and incredibly boring. The only thing curious about this case of Benjamin Button is why the film was made and why it received Academy Award recognition in the first place.
a Jaw-Dropping work in visual effects, and it actually is really good - Rating: 4/5
I have to admit I was skeptical about this film when I watched it, but it only took a couple of minutes for it to fully get my attention.
I think that other than the amazing CGI work in the movie, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button has a really good timing, I couldn't believe a movie this long will keep me interested all the way.
It is an interesting look on life and gives you a new perspective on aging.
Sometimes I felt that Mr. Depp had problems acting as an old man, but the CGI made sure to make it really believable, making it almost flaw-less and outstanding digital and cinematographic work.
(As a side note, I really enjoyed the idea of how optimistic the character was as he was raised in a place where death is a "common visitor" making him enjoy every day in life like wine drops in a bottle)

Somehow, the english version did not work in my 1:5 dolby surround mode. I have to switch over to the french version. It would be perfect if not due to this blemmish
