Definitely liked the premise for the movie. I liked some of the characters, it has that Heroes feel to the movie!! Would recommend to watch!!

Some cool powers and neat special effects. Like a modern remake of the Scanners movie from the 80's. Worth watching.
Some Observations About "Push" - Rating: 2/5
"Push" is very well shot. Good camera work, good use of color. It looks great.
Say what you want about Dakota Fanning, but she is simply amazing. She gets a lot of the same sort of weird child actor hate that Haley Joel Osment got, but Fanning has developed into a competent young actress. It's admittedly easy to steal scenes in this sort of film, so I'm not sure if this is a compliment to her or an insult to the other actors, but she was the only convincing player in this film.
The mythology is somewhat interesting and had potential, though the way it's thrown at us, giving us no time to digest, makes me think that the writer and director really didn't care about the back story.
Now, the strained compliments out of the way. Here we go. "Push" is convoluted and messy throughout.
The climax was incredibly long, rife with the twists that made shows like Heroes (Season Three, guys) nearly unwatchable.
Unfortunately for everyone who ever sees this film, there is a lot of unintentional comedy. Will it make you laugh? Probably. But will it ever make you laugh on purpose? Definitely not.
The screaming Asians. Oh no.
Cheesiness can be good, but only self-aware cheesiness. This is not that.
"Push" is a bad film. One of the worst of 2009. If you ever sit down in a cozy little room with a bowl of popcorn... make sure that you don't make the mistake of watching this film.

I spent a couple of hours this afternoon watching stellar performances by Dakota Fanning, Chris Evans and Camilla Belle in the high techno thriller "PUSH". Talk about a psychological thriller. This one is so far out, I thought it was the sequel to "Easy Rider"...2009 edition. Child star Dakota Fanning is superb, as is co-star Chris Evans (tremendous resemblance to 50s rock n' roll heart-throb Ricky Nelson). If you like non-stop action and twists that will have you scratching your head (whether or not you have hair), then don't wait to be "pushed" before you see "PUSH". It's one of those flicks where you can't miss a second or you may be side-tracked. Remarkable special effects, polished acting, and a profound soundtrack that makes up for a weak script. But who cares...it's a great ride. I give it 4 stars. SO now it's your turn to give it a rent. You won't be disappointed.

Wow, Dakota is sooo big. Like the movie, a little complicated but entertaining. I have seen Dakota's film since she started and she's an excellent artist.
