A terrible hack job with many scenes cut - Rating: 2/5

I was really looking forward to this DVD, being a huge fan of the television show. Unfortunately, when I started watching the set, I found out that this DVD set focuses on the guest stars throughout the show's run. The popular opening numbers and song and dance routines which were a highlight of the show are all cut. It's really disappointing to see Time-Life release something like this, without so much of the good material gone.

I have most of the shows on videocassette but I cannot wait to have a copy of this DVD. This is a great family show and lots of entertainment for all. Barbara Mandrell is a very talented musician and entertainer!

It's about time!! - Rating: 5/5

All I can say is it's about time this show was on DVD. Of course the whole 2 seasons need to be released like other TV shows not just the best of. But maybe the response to this will open their eyes. Simply the BEST show on tv EVER!!!

Love all three ladies, but my favorite has always been Louise. Something about her and that fiddle (or is it just her...huuummmm)

Thanks Timelife, now lets get every show released on DVD...WE WANT IT!
