Koch & Jentsch Join 'Effi Briest'

Sebastian Koch ("The Lives of Others") and Julia Jentsch have signed on to star in Constantin Film's adaptation of Theodor Fontane's classic 19th century novel "Effi Briest."
Jentsch ("Sophie Scholl -- The Final Days") will take the title role of a young woman caught between an arranged marriage with the much older Baron von Instetten (Koch) and an ill-advised love affair.
Juliane Koehler ("Downfall") has also signed on to the project, playing Effi's mother Luise von Briest.
