Truth Revelead About 'False Advertising'
[Monday, August 26th, 2002]Universal Pictures picked up the pitch "False Advertising" from screenwriting duo Abdi Nazemian and Micah Schraft, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
The project -- based on the 1961 Universal film "Lover Come Back," starring Rock Hudson and Doris Day -- is a romantic comedy set in the high-stakes world of advertising.
Nazemian and Schraft, who worked from William Shakespeare's classic comedy "The Two Gentlemen of Verona" as source material for their Fox Searchlight project "My Best Friend's Boyfriend," are at work penning the "Advertising" screenplay.
