Sandler Is To Star Next In 'Fifty First Kisses'

"Fifty First Kisses" will be Adam Sandler's next movie, reports Variety.

Having been attached to the romantic comedy since October, Sandler has signed a deal with Columbia to segue into the project, which has a spring start date.

He will play a man who falls in love with a woman after a memorable encounter. However, he discovers that she suffers from severe short-term memory loss and has no idea who he is. To win her, he must get her to fall in love with him all over again every day.

Drew Barrymore, Sandler's co-star in "The Wedding Singer," is in negotiations to join the cast. No director has been tapped.
