I don't think PS 7 has smudge.

PS 7 should have "Smudge", it was in PS 5.5 but I don't know if there is the brush options in that version.

I just figured since it was in 5.5 that it should be in the later versions. I went from 5.5 to CS

There are additional tools in the menu, if you see the black arrow next to an icon click and hold to see the other tools. It should be under the "Blur" tool, the one that looks like a water drop.

I downloaded GIMP 2.2.13 recently and um... yeah.
cut/copy certain parts from the image? For example lets say I took Thorinn's sig and I only wanted to take black Spideys head (And not the background) and paste it onto a different picture?
One of the tools is called "Select shape fro image" which I used to sort of select the shape I want, but I dont know how to cut it. Everytime I do that and select cut it cuts the entire picture.

PS7 has the smudge tool.
You can't do scatter smudge with it though.

I have PS6 and all smudge does is kinda smear it. There are no options like scatter or anything.
Does PS7 have scatter cause im thinking of getting an upgrade.

lolz it has a cut paths tool and such like that, free hand select, which would probably be better, but its alot harder, and takes alot longer to cut stuff out which frankly i suck at so i dont use it but, there are other ways to wrok with that stuff

Well, smearing stuff is the original function of the smudge tool.
And I just said the post before yours that PS7 does not have scatter smudge.

PS7 does have the brush options, just not for all tools.
