This is a respect thread for Sersi of the Eternals

Like all Eternals she is virtually immortal and can only be killed by a sufficiently severe atomic/molecular dispersion. She�s been alive for at least tens of thousands of years, and probably a lot more. She is the same person as the Circe of myth. Here it�s told that she once used her powers to return and reseal the evils of Pandora�s box.

Physical powers
All Eternals have superhuman strength, endurance and durability, which they can enhance using their cosmic powers, as well as flight capability.

Fights off a brain mine, has her arm atomized and dispersed, ends up going to Kro, falls at comet speed through the atmosphere, but manages to keep herself undetected and phased through the Pentagon, crashes at speed into the sublevels, recalls her story to Kro and then regenerates her arm.

Unaffected by hurricane winds she KTFOs Crystal.

Energy blasts
All Eternals can fire cosmic energy in the form of force, heat and/or light, usually from the eyes or hands. These can range from simply stunning opponents to vaporizing them.

Teleportation
All Eternals can also teleport over vast ranges. It�s noted in some bios that Eternals may be disorientated from teleportation, however Sersi doesn�t show this disorientation.

Psionic powers
Sersi is a telekinetic and telepath, with the latter she specializes in creating illusions which are virtually indistinguishable from the real thing.

She can use her psionic abilities to open and maintain dimensional portals, however it�s very taxing. Also during this comic her powers were feeding back on her when she used them.

During the Bloodties crossover she stalemated Exodus in a psionic battle � but was convinced to stop due to the damage to the city they were producing. It also shows her durability.

I haven't read it fully myself but the premise is that Sprite used the powers of the Tiamut the Dreamer to make himself human, so that he could finally age. As a result all the Eternals suffered an amnesia. She's been living an ordinary life and has only recently rediscovered her powers.

The New series has been amazing, it has a real sci-fi edge to it. Gaiman is brilliant at making Gods relatable. I've yet to buy the massive Eternal omnibus (It costs �50, which is a big No, No when you're a student), but i love the mythology. I wish marvel would retcon out the traditional Gods and make characters such as Thor, Odin and Ares into Eternals.
