SIG TOURNEY FIRST ROUND RENDERS

So a bit late but here are the renders

Game : Castlevania

Comic : Silver Surfer

Choose one....Everyone can choose either a comic or a game render (it makes no difference which one you make the sig from)

Sig must contain your names somewhere.

Limits :

SIZE : 400X150

KB LIMIT : 80 KB

Must contain name.




You have time from when the renders shown until Friday 18:00 EST

Then hopefully you'll get results on Sunday 18:00 EST one week from now.

This goes on until there are only 6 of you left. Then we settle those in 3 duels.

Yeah Mine was too big as well, I didn't shrink it cause it would ruin it. I'm not a fan of small sigs.

Silent Coyote and Darkchoco failed to submit entries... Do they get extentions? Eclipso and Marko aren't within the limits... If you just go by the guides, we're already down to 8, but that's no fun...

We really have a problem now which messed up the whole going for the tourney thanks for the 2 that haven't posted and especially that 3 are going out that leaves 7 people in row...

Marko,Quickshot and Eclipso for going oversize...
That's just me. We'll wait for others...

For this mess only one guy goes out in the next round we have to keep the 6 for the duels and finals...

But here is the deal for the Judges....

If we let 3 walk then we mess up the next round....

So I thought about a vote....

All the judges vote wether we let Marko,Eclipso or Quickshot go through the next round??

I think we should let them, for the sake of the competition.

I've no problem with it, but really, people should pay attention to the guidelines.

I say cut them off completely....extensions and exceptions galore just teach people to ignore deadlines. They may have valid reasons, and we've all missed dealines, but at some point a line needs to be drawn.

This is a tourney. More than just two duelists are waiting on these things. I realize I'm not a part of this, but as an observer I think the best thing to do would be to eliminate them and move on.

I'd say the same, but unless the remaining two get in their entries, simply cutting them would mess up the setup.

I'll be honest and I say I don't particularly care either way, though my usual stance of "no exceptions" wants to win out, and I did tell Marko earlier when he realized he messed up the sizes that you generally can't change your entry.

but winning by default is lame, id rather lose to there late, and out of guidline engtries, then to only make it to the next round by chance

I have no problem bowing out, I miss read the criteria my fault. lol Will teach me for being a prik lol.

I'll bow out with Marko if SC and DC show up

If not why not let Eclipso,Me and Marko go through but eliminate 3.

The problem is the original idea was 4 goes out , out of 12. Now we only have 10 entries and 3 people...Instead of 8, only 7 are going to the next round and not because "how they make sigs" only because they haven't paid attention to the rules.

Sorry, I just hate small sigs like that, Why did you make them so small in the first place?

Marko, Eclipso, quickshot: Rewmac has the final decision. I'm sure his decision will be based on what is best for the tournament structure. If he accepts you, you're in the next round, regardless.

That may be your personal opinon, but you have no grounds on which to break the rules.

Criterias are there to challenge you, to make you work with material you normally don't work with in a style you normally don't. I'm sure Rewmac has some challenging criterias ahead. It is not your place to disregard a judges rules. Your goal is to create the best sig within the given limits.
