3) Do both have to die or have we read the Prophecy wrong?

5) what is so special about Harry's eyes?

That's right... I suppose Ass Goblin only assumed that bcoz JKR asked "Imperius Curse anyone?" just right after mentioning about Percy's attitude in GoF.

I personally think that she just wants to show us how one character (like Percy) can be so good & kind in book 4, BUT turn evil immediately in the next book (book 5) -- that fast! Probably thru the "imperius curse" indeed, but not necessarily referring to Percy.

even in book 4 you could see how much of a butt kisser percy, I wasn't really surprised at what he did. Just a bit ticked off

I think this transcript is authentic bcoz the source also posted a transcript of the PMs between the mugglenet forums administrator & JKR-- the mugglenet admin PMd the supposed JKR to keep her online and check that she is not an imposter-- I wanted to post it here to but I cant find it right now... I will later on, when I find it.

But from her answers in the PM transcript, it really sounds like JKR. the web admin even tried to trick/scare JKR by asking her how good she is at computers, instructing JKR how to see her own IP address, and telling JKR that she is a "hacker". The admin also told JKR that her computer is not safe & she has to change her settings to strengthen her firewall, even told her how to (contact your ISP and tell him to check this, do this, that). The web admin then told JKR that her location indeed looks "real" bcoz not too many people "in that part of the UK" enters the mugglenet chatroom.

Sorry for this double-post, but from that transcript, I began forming my own theory... however, I havent considered her clues about "The Prince and The Pauper" when I formed the theory coz i couldnt remember that story.

But after reviewing the "Prince & Pauper" story, my theory was shattered again. I'm not too familiar with the whole story coz I didnt have time to read it thoroughly, but if any of you are, could you help me with it? Please post your thoughts about it in this thread.

JKR keeps hinting at it.. and the first princes of Rome-- the only reference I could get on that is Romulus & Remus, the twins.

If JKR is saying that Remus Lupin is the HBP, where is his twin (Romulus)? And isnt Romulus supposed to kill Remus? Is Remus' twin working for Voldemort then?

What if the HBP is Remus' twin? He didnt need to take polyjuice potion bcoz he looks exactly like him, being his twin brother (again a reference to The Prince and The Pauper).

How about Remus Lupin alive but only under the Imperius Curse?

If this is so, then Ron's random prediction would be true -- "someone whom Harry thought was his friend would betray him" -- Harry thinks Remus is his friend right?

Im not actually a Harry and Ginny shipper but JK has said there is romance for harry in The Half Blood Prince, so if Harr and Cho dont get back together then what was said about harry and Ginny not lasting long makes sense xx

Rowling tells fans:

* Dumbledore's patronus is a phoenix
* Grawp will be more controllable in the sixth book
* We will see a bit more of Rita Skeeter
* There will be a new character called McLagan
* Harry does NOT have a godmother

Rowling also states that fans should be concentrating on answering two questions:

1. Why didn't Voldemort die when he tried to kill Harry?
2. Why didn't Dumbledore try to kill Voldemort in that scene at the end of book five?

Read that couple days ago at CBBC newsround. Kinda figured that Aberforth was the barman at Hogshead before. Sticking to what I think: Aberforth will be the DADA teacher in the 6th book, and also may be the half-blood prince... But yeah, that's just me.. ehheeh

This is my theory of the two questions Rowling said to focus on.

I think the Voldemort didnt die when the spell rebounded because if he did it would have been him that killled himself, not harry, and the prophecy says either must die in the hands of the other. So Voldemort can't die unless Harry kills him, and Harry can't die unless Voldemort kills him. And that is also the answer to the second question. Dumbledore couldn't kill Voldemort because of the Prophecy. Harr has to kill Voldemort or Voldemort has to kill Harry.

But thats just my theory.

And i dont think that they both have to die, although it is very possible.

Just because he known what the prophecy tells us.........he knows that Harry have to kill Voldemort............even if Dumbledore try to kill Voldemort...........whit all the power he has......he cant because of the prophecy......he maigt hurt him a lot but not to get to kill Voldemort....

i agree with angelsflame. she said it like that because she's not gonna give away such a huge part about the ending. she doesn't want us to know what's gonna happen and needs to keep us guessing. and to be honest, i think we would all rather find out if he survives or not by reading the book instead of jk just announcing in an interview that harry's gonna live a long and happy life
