I think An American Werewolf in London is one of the greatest movies of all time. A great horror flick different from any other. It is also a tragedy, not to many films follow the tragedy paradigm anymore. Forget An American Werewolf in Paris. That movie should never have been thought of. An American Werewolf in London is what it is all about.

yeah it doesnt get much better than american werewolf in london. Great writing, great acting and great creature effects make it one of the best of all time or atleast rival the best, which i might add there are not many of. I love the subway scene that is great, when they do the far away shot with the wolf eating the man, thats just great. When it finally busts out of the porn theater is classic too.

american werewolf in paris was so very bad SO very bad, those are the kind of movies that give americans bad names. while watching that movie i was contemplating if i should just break my neck so i would never have to remember witnessing such a bad movie.

AWIL was one of my fave films as a kid, its class.

BackFire349

kazbeck
Paris sucked ass, big time.

BackFire349
London is a masterpiece, one of the most innovative werewolf movies released.

Paris was also very good as well, though the innovation factor obviously goes to london.

I have "An American Werewolf In London" on DVDs, both "live" and "Universal" editions.
I am a huge fan of this film, that is why I wanna ask you guys if there is some rare footage I can find from this film.
The "universal" dvd of "American werewolf in London" have a great extras that I like a lot. But I want much more bonus extra stuff if there is any.
So I will ask you people if there is anything out there, on DVD or VHS containing some extras that my "universal" dvd dosn't have.
Anything at all.
If anyone knows where I can find this kind of stuff, then please let me know.
Thanks!.

P.S.
Even if it is about five minutes worth of material.

BackFire349

Espantada20
I won't say that Paris sucked ass,but it could've been better.I thought the werewolves were pretty scary looking

Wolfie
Paris is a comedy, it wasn't supposed to be scary or anything. London is a classic though, I love it. London was great. Paris was okay.

mook
yeah its a top film, i like the idea of his friend being undead.

samhain
I bought the dvd last weekend, I think it is the best werewolf movie around. Even the scene where they go into the pub and are told to stay off the Moors is terrifying.

starguard
I just saw AWIL on Television a few days ago. I don't know if it was the soundtrack, the perfect mixture of Horror, Comedy and Sadness, or the overall charm of the characters, but this movie has to be the greatest horror movie that universal studios has ever made. I just ordered the DVD version off of eBay and I can hardly wait for it to arrive cool

slayer
I agree with what most popele have said. it's definately one of the best Werewolf movies around.

Yeah, they did a great job, without computer animation even. And they play the entire song, 'I see a black moon rising', by Creedance Clearwater, right before he changes. Classic.

Yeah, the transformation scene was GREAT! Especially when he says, "I didn't mean to call you meatloaf Jack!"
