also, smith is like the leader of the agents in m1, agent brown and jones just follow him and do as he says

yeah, i agree. He (Ex-Agent Smith) seems like a human compared to the other Agents. The Agents are even more lifeless than Keanu's acting, (Just joking Korri, i didn't mean it, it was just a joke) ;-D

Well I just have to say, is there anyone in this whole matrix forum that's a bigger fan of Neo than Korri?! hehe...

I must say if we took all the main characters and analysed them in terms of their acting abilities I would say Mr Smith.

Just watching how he delivers his lines with great depth and style, his Diction is impeccable. Example when he meets Neo in reloaded for the first time " ....I saw you die Neo, with great satisfaction I might add...."
When Bane turns around and sees Smith he cries out "oh God" and Smith says " Smith would suffice" and absorbs him.

It is not just the words but the way he executes his lines what ever drama school he went to it was worth it.

Morpheus character is more for me, in terms of being able to inspire and teach people to believe in themselves a real leader on the battle ground, no matter how out numbered you are we can still win. His speech in Zion was so inspiring.

Wow, how deep and insight...cheers to that!! ...I really should say that Smith did have the upper hand in most of his parts than the other characters, as most have already analyzed. And Morpheous on the other hand...I love his glasses!!!! They don't have the clingy thing to the ears!!hehe... how do they stay on when he fights? Well, I shouldn't know, I never wore those types of glasses before...
