Oh my god, I just finished reading all these post about me and I have tears of joy running down my face. I think this is one of the happiest days of my life. I've never felt this emotional since the time I saw E.T. as a little kid, not the part where he was all dried out and grey looking in the gully where he looked like he could have used some skin lotion , but the part where Eliot closes the little ice chest thing that E.T. is chillin in and you see E.T.'s heart light up. And then the dead flower in the flower pot blooms again. That's how I feel. All those things, hmm. Anyway, here gos the story. . . one time I got home from disney land with my ex ex ex girlfriend Krista. When I got home to my mom's house my dad was there. That was an odd thing, you see, because my parenst divorced when I was five so why would my dad be at my mom's house when my mom wasn't even home. I mean, like what's that all about. Psh. So, Krista goes and takes a shower in the downstairs bathroom because she has to go to work and no one was at her house to let her in. So, I'm like, "Dad, why are you here?"
And he goes, "Your Mom was pulling weeds, son. She found your marijuana plants." DOH!!!!

I was 19 years old at the time, going to junior college, living at mom's, and no I didn't get arrested. But check this out. My dad tells me he's going to tell my best friends parents if I don't go and talk to a police officer at San Jose PD. My dad wanted to teach me a lesson. So, in order to keep my friends parents from knowing they were their plants too, I went to the police and this very large intimidating police officer with a very deep voice laid it all on me how growing weed was going to lead to "other things" and that I'm lucky the cops didn't raid my house and how my mom could have lost her teaching credential since drugs were being grown on her property. I guess they had a point. But I highly doubt the cops would have taken my mom's credential. He was just saying a bunch of stuff to scare me into not growing weed. So, he goes on about how he sold coke and his parents found it in his night stand and I'm like, wait a minute?

Anyway, my dad, on the way home, he asked if I learned a lesson. I said, "Yeah, next time I grow pot I'll make sure to do it somewhere else."

One time I was in alaska visiting my buddy and when he was at work I had no way of going into town witch was about four miles away, so I hitchhiked a few times. In Alaska it's the norm. In fact, there are certain places in Alaska where it is against the law to NOT pick up a hitchhiker.

That is the cycle of life. Parents worry, kids stay alive. It can't be explained. It is realized with age. Not that older people are smarter, just more experienced with some basic aspects of life. It's hard as a parent to raise your child from a baby and then watch them grow to the point were they move out. That's a hard one for parents. It's hard for them to let their babies go.
