who likes writing songs? I do - its like poetry with music

I've written quite a few... some ballads, some shouty types, some pantomimey ((I say pantomimey cos I wrote them for a pantomime!))

i've tried to write songs, but too hard.

i write a lot of songs, but the best song i ever wrote was called "Forget" and the chorus goes like this:

Forget me
Don't use me
And maybe
We weren't meant to be

it's like a shouting song. i love it with all my heart.

I can write music to pretty much suit anything but lyrics generaly elude or they sound so hollow that I scratch them.

I have succesfully written 30 songs. I love music, i have been playing guitar since i was 9!! love LED ZEPPELIN, They rock!!!

I write lyrics, haven't tried writing an actual song yet... Except for just making stuff up on my cello but that doesn't really count

I write some manuscript. No lyrics just notes for trumpet and stuff. I am in the middle of an arrangment of a Jazz calssic right now.

I write lyrics once in a while...never really tried writing actual music though.

I co-wrote a ton of stuff with my band, but I've only ever wrote one full length song on my own that I'm actually proud of. I still have the original lyrics sheet somewhere.

I arrange stuff... Like I take a piano piece and turn it into a cello piece, but I never actually compose music.

I write all the time. I hate it when i think of something really good and dont have a pen or paper. I cant force my self to write, I usually start playing my guitar and start singing, I use a little tape recorder most of the time. Most of what i sing really works, it always comes off the top of my head.

I've written about a 2000 songs!

Don't write many lyrics though, apart from Powell & Kevski material
