i read somewhere that a new edition of the movie "the outsiders" was going to come out on dvd this month or sometime this year. the new dvd is supposed to include extended and deleted scenes that weren't in the original in 1982. does anyone know more about this?

also, there was a 1990 tv show on fox of the s.e. hinton's book, does anyone know about it coming to dvd? i'll post the address later, if you want to mail fox later about begging for the show to come to dvd.

there were rumours about a remake to outsiders, is this true! please post answers soon!
