Hi everyone! I want hear from you. Do you think that real mutants exist? Why or why not? This is for a project that I am doing. So please, tell me what you think. LATER!

Mutants are proven to exist, you know, like two headed snakes and eight legged cows and crap, but i think you mean like the X-Men, which DONT exist

Superior beings; A superior race, is bound to exist - We, thrive above the previous races that once dominated this planet, am I wrong? The human race has been proven to exist in prehistoric ages, although the fact of a higher race continuing to exist in modern days is likely, although in rare notice. They could look like us; these superior beings might not even know what they are, if they have reached the level of maturity to accept that their different. And that, itself, does not come with adulthood like most things. If your referring to supernatural beings, such as Vampires, werewolves, wraiths, and the like, then sure. I believe them. But, your referring to the X-Men as far as I know, and I have yet to see a furry little blue guy teleporting a man with blades ejecting from in between his knuckles to this day, and I don't plan to.

Hiya! There are already superior beings all around us, take top athletes, i could never do some stuff they do, look at einstein - genius! The human race is constantly evolving. I reckon one day an X-men type thing could occur!

I belive mutants exist even the Xmen type because I doubt you will belive me but I happen to be one and if you read my name my power is prety self explanitory like Paola said telikinetics might exist well they were right because like I basically said before I am a telikinetic. uhm...i reckon there'll be a time that them "x-men" type mutants might exist...i guess if animals can get mutated.. then humans can too...there'r some occurances that babies are born with 2 heads...or with extra limbs...so yeah....uhm...if youll consider 2 headed animals mutants....then there really are human mutants.....

We will never stop evolving. Just as Jean said on X-Men 2 that the human race is evolving all the time. It just might be slowing down due to all our new technology. I don't know how far our race will evolve or if it will evolve into women who control storms or guys with wicked cool blades but you never know. Weirder things have happened. I'm new to so welcome.

i believe in "mutatants" or mutations. Cancer is a mutation of a cell...(i would type more about cancer but that would take too long). So...yes i do believe in mutations.

Evolution is a necessity.
If a species doesn't change, it becomes static and then becomes extinct. I may sound like a nut or something, but I think evolution would or is occuring KIND OF like the x-men. not necessarily mystical magical powers like Cyclops or anything but, maybe, MAYBE telepathy * a known "thing"* is something like this evolution?

There has never been a documented case of beneficial mutation.

Most, if not all, mutation has negative impacts on the mutatee.

THere are definitely mutations out there, but find proof of a beneficial mutation and you will be on the road to proving that we are evolving toward a more 'x-men-like' future.

Mutation is not something to be believed it is a simple fact.

We are mutants now, well mutants of the Neolythic man, a hybrid veration of many steps of human evolution encluding even the Neanderthals. When the 'others' came into existance the Neanderthals began to lose population as the 'others' were a superior race. It is narrowminded (no offense to anyone) to think that we have come to a stage were we can no longer adapt or mutate into a superior human however this may be helped along by science. We are just another link in the chain of evolution of the human, what we will become may be a 'super human' it may not. Maybe all our mutation will be is superior reflect skills and faster running and such. Whatever it is only time will tell. Our heavy submersion in technology around us may slow down this mutancy as it is not needed as much but it will still happen. Guess we will just have to wait and see.

anyways, yeah, after some thought, I don't really think we'd have mystical awesomeness powers and such, maybe something like Toad though. Evolution is to ensure survival throughout different environments, I learned in biology class one time *not to sound racist, im not, this might come off as racist* that if white ppl, "africans", and asians had been seperated by a geolological boundary for at least one or two more centuries *or so*, we would have all evolved to where we could only mate with our literal "race", for example, if you were white, you could only mate with other white ppl, if you were "african", you could only mate with other "africans", etc.

Humans seem to have a part in the brain that recognizes pride and shame. I'd have to agree with who I mistakenly disagreeed with. If a "normal" human was to mutate with some "ability" that others didn't have, the shame would rise. <.<

And yes, mutants, genetic mutation, most certainly exists in all species of living things (although I am vague about mutations in things like bacteria), although in all honesty I doubt if there are X-Men like mutants out there. Or indeed any evolutionary variable that would give someone, say, power over the weather. As far as I know mutation is not like that....

it is like that. there are mutants all around, so why do people ignore strange things that happen becuase of mutants.

I think I have the answer to my own question.
I'd like to think they exist but I have no proof that they do. So, who am I to say that mutants are real?

I am 16 years old. Lots of people don't believe mutants exist. I know they do because I am one. I have six powers, five of which I have fully mastered. I have obtained these powers because over 87% of my chromosomes are altered. I have aero-kinesis (manipulation of air currents), hydro-kinesis (manipulation of water), pyro-kinesis (manipulation of fire, not creation of it), terra-kinesis (manipulation of the ground), thermo-kinesis (manipulation of the temperature of objects excluding the temperature of the weather), and a new one-- bio-kinesis (manipulation of the DNA of living things). There are many aspects to my powers.

They're as follows:
Aero-Kinesis: I can create winds up ro 54 MPH.
Hydro-Kinesis:I My second strongest power. I can raise whole lakes, stop river flow for up to 1.5 hours, and create tsunamis.
Pyro-Kinesis: I can "draw" with fire and fight fires by myself.
Terra-Kinesis: My strongest power that I've used since age 6. I can raise or lower entire mountains and I can shape rocks.
Thermo-Kinesis: I can heat up objects or freeze them almost instantly.
Bio-Kinesis: My weakest power. I can temporarily give other people powers by altering their DNA. This wears off because the body fixes it after about 20 minutes. I can also turn plants different colors.

I have done many things with my powers, some good and some bad.

Examples of each:
Aero-Kinesis: I have blown people over riding bikes.
Hydro-Kinesis: I created my first and only tsunami to date which killed two people in West Samoa during vacation.
Pyro-Kinesis: I have put out a house-fire before the fire-fighters arrived. However I have lit a science lab on fire to get out of school,
Terra-Kinesis: The land that my dad's house is on is unstable so I stabilize it for him every six months. However, I have crushed the cars or broke windows of people's houses that I don't like.
Thermo-Kinesis: I only use this one to cool down soda and warm up food. I did once cool down a small lake to help my mom and grandma fish.
Bio-Kinesis: I can get rid of all my powers if I want my altering my own DNA. I have given others temporary powers. Once I almost killed myself, but I gave my friend Chris permanent powers just like those of Gambit from X-men. I us this frequently to change roses yellow and green for my girlfriend. I use this one to give her temporary powers so we can fight in my backyard to train my powers.

I consider myself special because of my powers. With over 87% of my chromosomes altered, people think my physical appearance is ugly, I fixed that using my Bio-Kinesis.

Well I am kinda a mutant, I think...

I can run speed almost fast as wolves, hear, smell, see and I can heal pretty fast but it leaves scars

I broke my arm 4 times and it healed within 4 or 5 weeks while it took months for normal people..

Well, that's a blast from the past.

I remember when we had our real life X-Men on KMC...good times. I think "Slightly higher reflexes dude" was the best, by far.
