Well, if you watch the trailer AGAIN (and what a good excuse to do so), the face seems to be morphing. So traits in one shot may not appear on another.

Ok, its obvious that its a face of some sort...but made of tiny things...could these be sentinals?

If you go through it frame by frame, it looks more like the Architect than anything else, IMHO.
