I'm sure most people know this, but I'll catch you up to date...X3 is likely to come out, but we're waiting for Halle Berry to decide if she'll sign on...but she wants her character 'Storm' to have a bigger role. It's not enough that her character is known all around since the 60's...but oh well..

Anywho...my friend and I were talking and we're thinking of possible candidates who could be Storm, just in such the emergency that Halle says no...

I said Toni Braxton...you gotta imagine the whole white hair thing...just for fun, think about it. If anyone thinks of suggesting a color inverted picture of Micheal Jackson...that's sick...well I guess I am...I'm the only dork that thought of that...

I think Tony would be a cool Stormy, but I gotta say I have gotten used to Hallie as Stormy. But I believe she should get a bigger part, only cause she has a huge tie to Gambit.

Yeah she should get a bigger part, or hopefully the movie will be longer...it can afford another hour or so to get more indepth with the characters. Since this'll be the 3rd, maybe they'll be a little more understanding, cause in the first movie, they were really sticking to guidelines for the characters, but around X2, they chilled down, so much so that Halle was allowed to use her usual accent and not the one she was using in the first movie...

I hope it's 'Lord of the Rings' long...simple hour and a half to 2 hours isn't enough anymore. I remember a time...I'm to young to say this...when movies meant more...and you got your money's worth...hopefully long movies will come back in style...it probably costs the movie company a lot of money...*sigh* quality does cost money...that's a fact..

Actually that ouldn't be bad at all, it would just be going against everything that is X-men.

It sort of gets confusing if they change the actors midstream, like they do in the Batman movies. That really had me lost. It's like starting the movie all over again.

I like Halle Berry playing Storm but I think she's being a little damanding. I mean look who she gets to star in the movie with! *sigh* and I'm sure she's making alot of money doing the movies.

jada pinkett smith does to much as it is...but she'd be a next best choice...I thin she'd change Storm calm demeanor and add pizazz as she does with most of her characters. Prove me wrong and name a character that was calm...

I read an interview in wizard comics with singer, and he was asked about the halle berry deal, he said "just because an actor doesnt want to play a part as infinite as storm doesnt mean im going to re write her out of the script, the fans expect to see the x-men and im going to give them their and my x-men" he went on to say that there were no complications with halle berry not wanting to play storm, so rest assured halle and storm will be in x-3 , pick up the july issiue of wizard and its there in print for you if ya dont believe me, but he was still as tight lipped as ever on the plot just saying "the first movie was the trailer for the next two. the second was a precursor of what is to come for X-3 so be ready to see the team at there best"

Grace Jones should have always played storm, she is a true African Goddess. I don't like Halle Berry too much, and Monster Ball is the worse movie ever. I rather sit in a DMV line for hours than watch that.

There was a interview with halle and hugh jackman and halle said along the lines of she would be willing to do x3 but she did want a bigger part and to see storm fly, but she said it seemed as though 20 century was either planning on no storm at all or mearly a cameo.

what is th big deal paola, she can play two charactes, i would love to see her as catwoman but they are very close to pulling the plug because they are afraid it will take ratings away from the new batman movie. Singer just does not want there to be a storm in it if halle will not play the part, it is a communication issue.

I have a problem with the state and zip code. Tashe suggested that non-americans use a state and zip code they might now. But they must match. So you americans start giving ideas and lets make sure we dont repeat them.

I think that some charcters need to be out of films and some introduced. For example Sabretooth and Toad didn't return but they will in the future, yet it was a nice change of pace to add deathsryke. I hope that storm doesn't come back for X3 and instead Beast of Collossus maybe even kitty will have bigger parts. And Maybe even Angel! but I think Storm should just sit this one out. My two cents

Well Storm is (IMO) the coolest character. I think the ones that should always appear are Storm, Jean, Rogue,Wolverine, Cyclops,Prof. X and Magneto.Ans since I like Mystique now I think she should be in it too. For new characters just Gambit the others can stick to cameos. Thats

Tashe gave me 1 to use but I did try something like that 1st. It accepeted the Nr but not the city I tried Lisbon and Lisbon city. Other stuff it wouldnt work so I gave up and then Tashe gave 1 to use.

I agree with kes on this one. Storm is essential to the x-men. Just like the rest of the above. But i want collossus to have a bigger role.

Storm isn't essential, I mean she just sort of helps out like nightcrawler(on my top ten favs) but shes not essential. Its true that when people think of X-men they think of wolverine, then cyclops, then storm. So i guess what I'm trying to say is that she is important but not essential.

I think sabretooth should return if Omega Red is in it because Omega red is one of wolverine's biggest rivals...i think it would be cool as for the badguys I think they should have juggernaut (maybe if not X4), quicksilver, and scarlet witch. I also hope that betsey will come in one of these days. Oh yea and about the Omega Red/wolverine thing...here's a little history in case you want to know wolverine's first appearence was as a bad guy fighting Hulk, betcha didn't know that.

Storm has a cool story too.

We already had 2 movies talking about wolvie, lets try someone else. The chick that plays Jean already said that they are going to do the dark phoenix. Now its just knowing what they'll change from the comic story to movie story.
They cant put to many characters because then there wont be time to introduce them all, and you either end up with characters you ont care about or characters that make no sence to the story.

I think it is going to have ti be accepeted that:

1. Halle Berry is INCREDIBLY expensive

2. She is not the most popular character

3. They need to leave room for new characters.

Storm is quite popular actually.
The new caharcters have to make sence for the story otherwise its just stupid to have them. Plus Storm is an original.

I know wolverine has been used a lot but If they make Omega red it's about Wolverine hands down. I hope they show nightcrawler more and beast and colossus.

Storm may be 'quite' popular but nowhere near popular enough to guarantee her survival in the franchise.

Come on Storm isn't really needed in x3.Don't get me wrong she is my third or forth character in the comics.Though in the movies and x-men evolution she is completely BORING in the way she's been protrayed.

I think they did the same to her in The Animated Series (TAS) but she was good in the movie... I loved what she said to Toad when she fried him with that lightning ..... also when she saves Professor X from evil little Jason in Cerebro along with Nightcrawler in X2

I'm with you Kes , no Storm means they'll have to change Gambits story on how he got into the X-men...and that would suck

1st Storm shows up in the posters as center stage. Wether you guys like it or not HB is an actress that attracts attention. It would be stupid not to have her. Yes she needs to be stronger, more attitude!
2nd taking a character that is already part of the equation to bring another character, like Gambit, that doesnt add anything to the story... just to please the fans is also stupid.
Dont get me wrong I love Gambit and I want to see him I just want it to make sense why he is there. Otherwise a cameo would be better.
