Who likes to go bowling?

Not me, I suck at it, and I once injured myself bowling. I used to love it.

I hurt myself a few times too. I have a tendency to slam my right knee into the floor when I let go of the ball.

One time my sister spilt the baby powder on the floor and didn't tell me and it got on my shoe and when I threw the ball the powder made me slip and I twisted on my knee, nearly tore a ligament and fell into the gutter, it sucked.

I once had a 200+ game, but after that my scores went down to about 100 or below.

Anyways, Yes Bowling ownz. All i need to do is learn how to play it properly instead closing my eyes and Flukin' all of the Strikes i get.

I remember the first strike I ever got.

It was at a friends birthday party and my dad just came in the alley to pick me up and I was on my last frame and I threw it and all the pins fell, my dad cheered and I was only 7. We weren't using the bumpers either.

My dad used to let me run down and push them over when i was 7....

My niece once forgot to let go of the ball and went flying into the lane.

I laughed my ass of because the foul line buzzer went off.

I got hit in the ass by a Bowling ball. Damn Ejecter thing..... Damn Rowing team, pressed me against where the balls come out.... And...

I love it, but my fencing is messing with my technique!
I am trying to learn to curve the bowl. I've only ever reached 200+ twice in the 4 months I've been bowling.

I can't even do that HN.....

I can't help but bowl with my eyes shut, then look. It always makes me laugh when someone gets a Gutter Ball though....

I used to think bowling was just chucking a ball. I know a pro-bowler who used to bowl at the alley I go to. I took it up when someone invited me to bowl in Melbourne. I didn't do too badly and decided to take it up since then. That was... nope... that was 5 months ago!!

I can remember Bowling for like ever too, i couldn't play it Pro. though. I enjoy muckin' around and havin' a laugh more then Competitive.

I get pissed easily at things like this, so I don't go for fear of losing my temper and throwing the ball at something.

same here, i usually just grab a light ball and chuck it as hard as i can down the lane.

I have to use a 15 or a 16 pounder, no easy balls for me.

I still like runnin' down and kicking them over.....

No I couldn't do it pro either, but I think I take it a little more seriously than I do fencing. I guess cause in fencing I am always getting my ass kicked and it annoys our head coach

I use a 10 pound ball. I need to build up my arms, I've been told.

i like to switch hands sometimes just to see how well i can bowl left handed. although once the ball come off my hand as i was swinging my arm backward. it was super funny

I've done that a few times, I once got a strike bowling righty.

my biggest problem is i have an intermittent slight right hook, so while my approach is the same, it doesn't go the same place everytime

Surprisingly, sometimes I can bowl well with my left... BUT... only the first few bowls, and that is using the 10 pound balls!!

Most of my friends like to do it for fun, but some do take it seriously. I'm in between. I do like it when I play better than some people who've been doing it a long time. That rarely happens these days
