well folks we have a 100 post rule for topics here in the GDF, this will now be enforced...................yet again. If you want ramble on mindlessly the OTT is the place.
There will only be some threads open over 100 posts, Queeqs bar thread, Members Picture thread, F1 and some others if we(the mods) decide them to be "fruitful" threads that deserve to have an "extended" life. (And it will be deceided by the mods only ) So crying and pleading wont help

i'm confused. does this mean that each thread can only have 100 posts, or that each member can only have 100 posts total in one thread? will the day in the life of a bug thread be moved to the otf? this 100 rule is new to me!!

To clarify:

If a thread is OFF-TOPIC, it gets closed at 100.

The rule IS enforced everywhere (we just pay more attention to the GDF)

The exception is the OTF- rather the point of the OTF, of course.

Obviously enough, threads that are over 100 and then go off-topic are also closed, as well as off-topic ones that go over 100.

Whenever The Tex debuts a new thread it is immediately swamped with posts from his loyal fanatical fans and sexy stalkers!

A 100 post limit is ultra un-divaish!

It's not a 100 post limit, if the topic is no longer on topic by the time it reaches 100 posts it will be closed.

But if it is still on topic it won't be closed, and any topic in the OTF that is off topic stay open.

same here, I have to agree with FM and all (though I'm not sure he posted it, but he told me) about certain members taking too much advantage of mods not paying attention in certain threads
