My dad just missed going to Vietnam, Thank Gawd, he was a year too young or i may not have been here.

His father fought in WWII and survived, though he was Injured in Action, he was shot in the head or something. Plus they were hit by a bomb, and a piece of Shrapnel flew up and went through his pack, Luckily hitting his shaving kit tin. Or else it would have gone through his heart.

We still have the tin to this day. With the dent that saved his life.

My favorite cousin is in IRAQ. He has been there and back again 3 times. To be honest I don't even know if he's ok. It's been a while since we were able to talk.
Most of my uncles were military men. erm

Yeah but also the British would have been completely taken over by Nazi Germany forces and probably be a totally different place today had Winston Churchill not made the deal with US president FDR to bring the production power US had into the 2nd world war. The Americans did play a big part in the British countries survival, that being said the British empire however soon faded following that deal ,and gave rise to the American empire in a big sense, but was a sacrifice that helped the British survive Hitler's invasion, and in a sense helped save Europe as a whole, not to forget with a lot of help from the soviets on the other side of the sandwich..
