flash hands down...quicksilver is fast but he can't run the speed of sound and the silver age flash could run faster then the time barrier..

all i know is that quicksilver can run 175 mph.

I love Quicksilver more but to answer the topic objectively, Flash definitely is faster.

You guys might think that quicksilver is cooler and thats your opinion, but the fact remains that the flash is faster just read a flash comic.

I've never read a Flash comic. So I'm not sure who would be the fastest. But I DO know that Quicksilver is WAY cooler. And if Quicksilver could catch Flash... Flash would get his ass whooped!

i like cartoon network/justice league's version of the flash because he's funny, but i prefer quicksilver because his suit, voice actor, and status is more interesting than flash.

well in marvel dc crossover flash beat quicksilver down flashed saved some people from somthing can't remember what it was and quicksilver hit him with some cheap shots then flash beat the tar outta him and flash can run up to the speed of light while quicksilver has hade it to the speed of sound at his tops and personally i've always liked flash better sorry

Flash has always ran circles around Pietro, In all the cross overs at least. that is of course if he isnt on the Marvel universe where he cant tap in to the speedforce there.

JLA/Avengers, the definitive crossover between the two teams began about three months ago and the answer is dependent on location. Flash teleported to the Marvel world to investigate the problems going on and guess what happened? There was no "force" for Flash to draw upon and so he was reduced to being a normal human (he actually got beat up because he appeared in front of a lot of people that assumed was a mutant in a costume). But in the DC world Quicksilver could not even touch Flash. All he could say was that he could feel the "force" and that he was going to try and master it. I am more of a Quiksilver fan, but in a world where all rules apply, Flash wins.

Thats a total cop out. Flash is connected tp the nature of speed. Where as Pietro is just a really fast runner.

He ISN'T fast when he goes to the Marvel Universe. He has to wear a special harness that stores up the DCU Speed Force.

Flash is faster than Quicksilver, because Quicksilver cannot run as fast as light and beyond, Flash can.

Quicksilver is only a mutant and part of the X-Men saga, and in general those characters have very restricted and toned down super powers next to the almighty DC characters that can do everything. I guess it's to make it more realistic.

Quicksilver was just a super-fast mutant. You have one who can heal, one who fires eye-lasers, one who controls weather, one who has wings, one who is telekinetic, and Quicksilver was just the "speedy" guy. I don't think he was created with any intention of being comparred to The Flash.

That's the thing that bugs me about DC. Marvel will keep their characters at a certain level, but DC seem to just make things up as they go along and keep "adding" abilities in order to out-do the others. Look at earlier incarnations of Superman and Flash, Supes was just a strong guy who could leap tall buildings - they then made him fly later on, and Flash was just a fast guy - who later on became faster than the speed of light.

It's that kind of stuff that puts me off reading anything with DC written on it apart from Batman (and that's not to say Marvel hasn't tried it too like with Magneto and Captain America)

Just so you know, Quicksilver can run the speed of sound. Which i beleive is somewhere over 600 Mph. Does anyone know how fast the speed of light is and the exact speed of sound so this discussion can end?

well the speed of light is 3.0*10 power 8 metres persecond n speed of sound is 330 metres per second, well generally speed of light is

360000000 kilometres per hour and and the speed of sound is 1188kilometres per hour. So the figures pretty much speek for emself.

actually, marvel comics are a lot better than dc, but i do agree that sumtimes the artwork is better in dc and dc most definately rules in terms of dialogue, but in the end, marvel is more realistic , has a much better story line, and is just better, NEWAY ur intitled to ur own opinnion.

This is all subject to debate. Marvel has some great artists, although they just lost Joe Bennet, sunuvagun. However, as long as Priest is only writing for Marvel, that's a leg up for them, IMHO.

wally is the fastest out of any of them got his powers the same way barry did...bart is related to barry, his grandson i think.......johnny quick created or found a formula to make him fast

they established this in the JLA/Avengers crossover, the fact that Flash can tap into the speed-zone makes him faster

Barry Allen and Jay are about as fast as Supes seeing as how they tied whenvever they races Wally is the only one that actually ever beat Supes but it was close. I think Bart is the coolest though since he has the ability to remember whatever he reads.

The Flash won 2 of three of those races. Wally West lost his first race to Supes. Not because superman is faster, because Wally is cocky. It was a super-hero version of "The Tortoise and the Hare." Supes has never been faster than any Flash.

you mean reading it at an extremely high speed, i thought you meant just reading a story or biography and remembering what you read, as for reading and remember dictionaries i base that partly on photographic memory
