The Oracle is not the mother of The Matrix..We see as soon as Neo asked "The Oracle" The Architect starts talking about her more clearly this time "Thus, the answer was stumbled upon by another, an intuitive program initially created to investigate certain aspects of human psyche.." he clearly tells Neo that the program stumbled upon an answer was The Oracle probably because he required reasoning and proof with being a program created by machines..And here we see there is only one choice that can be made in The Matrix..And that is exactly believing in Matrix or not believing in it..And the second choice is known as anomaly by the machines.. --

The Architect : While this answer functioned it was fundamentally flawed thus creating the otherwise contra-dictionary systematic anomaly that, if left unchecked might threaten the system..Ergo, those that refuse the program, while a minority if unchecked would constitute an escalating probability of disaster.

Neo : This is about Zion.

im not sure if i followed that exactly or not, but, while agreeing that the Oracle is not the Mother, im not sure i agree with the reasoning behind it...

what i take from it is that the Oracle was the answer to have the humans accept the matrix. the mother of the matrix is "ones" of the past. each time the matrix starts over the machines have learned something from humans. this time with neo, the machines have learned or are learning about hope and love. that is why the archt can see trinity falling (look at his screens) before it can even happen. he can see neo being blinded by an emotion (love) that machines cannot understand/feel.

the One did not come about until AFTER choice was introduced, but the Mother was the introducer of the choice.

The Architect : Hope.It is the quintessential human delusion..........

We all accept The Architect can not lie..He is a machine.But he can choose not to answer a question instead of telling the truth..And he does it when Neo asks why is he there...He chose not to answer the question..

The One..The mother of matrix..Architects program achives his goal by finding what causes the anomaly..Creating the 1 percent minority..Where The Oracle failed.

So are the "ones" the mother(s) of the matrix?
