THIS IS A NEW THREAD WHERE EVERY DAY THERE WOULD BE A BATTLE BETWEEN 2 X-MEN.pretend they would fight. think of who will win... then just say their name to vote. then at the end of the day (in california) i will tally up the votes and decide the winner! now with our first battle...

hmm. gambit is a better fighter but cyclops is more experienced so he'd anticipate more attacks. their energy levels are somewhat similar though i guess cyclops would stun a bit more. not sure about endurance. and i'd say their strength level is pretty much the same.

so i don't know. this is long for "it would probably be a tie".

I think cyclops would win because as kohl said he is an experienced and trained fighter.

Gambit

well if cyclops let gambit get in close, then gambit would probably win, but from a long range battle cyclops would probably win.

oh and other things: all battles will end at about 10 o clock (that;s in california). if you say tie, your vote will not count. so you might as well just say someone...

oh and i vote for CYCLOPS

Like that one is totally easy seeing that Jean has already died and Psycloke is still dead I'd say Jean cuz she came back and is almost near a God

Uncanny X-men sucks right now. So does X-treme. New isn't that cool either (though it isn't crap, it just not my taste) Ultimate is cool.

Iceman, by default, he is one of the Omega mutants. That means his powers don't have a limit. There is less than 4 Omega mutants.

this is a difficult one cos wolvie has a lot of experience and rage and strenth and weapons and ability, whereas if rogue get a lucky touch the the game is over! its hard to call but i'm gonna have to say................ rogue

Got a question isnt Rogue KINDA invincible? Cos I read a comic where Mystique stabs her and she goes like :" How is this possible?!"
It was possible cos her powers where going crazy...she even had the bone claws. Which also hurt and she asked Wolvie how is it that they hurt when she's...well invulnerable.
If thats the case doesnt matter what Wolvie does he has no chance. But if she can be stabbed, unless she is wearing a sleeveless shirt, she doesnt have a chance.

she did get her invulnerability when she absorbed ms. marvel's powers.

This is as toughas the Phoenix vs. Pyslocke one. I love Pyslocke and Phoenix, but I know Phoenix would win. Anyway, with the present one... my friend and I went over what would happen if Wolvie fought with Rouge. It really depends on the curcumstansis. Wolvie promised to take care of Rouge in the movie and he probably wouldn't hurt her on purpose. If he touched Rouge with his claws, would her powers effect him? PLus, if Rouge touched him for a split second, he might not even get knocked out if he can pull away fast enough. That way, they'd both have healing powers. It's tough but I'll go with Wolvie...no Roug... damn, the one vote I'm here for and I can't decide. I'll wait for the next one. I don't vote!

all x-men cant battle if rogue touches their skin...

they can fight, but manually & physical... no powers...

Hmm... Im thinking about bringing this back...

I'd go with Rouge if it was classic Ms. Marvel version...
But if it's fire Rogue>>>I'd give it to Wolverine...

rogue will easily beat wolverine, not only will she absorb his healing to makeup fo any initial attacks, but her absorbtion will probably result in a loss of conciousness on logans part............
